2 de sept. de 2023 · Use Brave for a while and it will break too, this happen on all browsers. Search the forum or the internet for youtube ad blocker and you find several threads about this issue. Disable the Vivaldi ad blocker. You can disable it with the shield icon in the address bar for a page. Cheers, mib.

In the command key for value data enter: "d:\Programs\youtube-dl\DownloadYTVideo.bat" "%1". Adjust the path to the folder where you have saved the program and where the batch created in the next step will be saved.
2 de feb. de 2024 · Annoying ads on youtube are back. I came to Vivaldi browser from Firefox. Unfortunately Vivaldi seems to have lost the battle with Google, ads are now creeping in on Youtube despite adblock adins and the onboard adblocker. Its been a few months now and regretable I must return to Firefox which seems to be winning the battle. At least for the moment
18 de may. de 2022 · 18 Jun 2022, 22:28. I'm having the video problem too: videos (youtube, f-book) start playing but after 2-5 seconds freeze. Then the whole browser is frozen for ~20 seconds and then continues playing. It then plays OK, but if I take any action, like pausing or seeking it freezes again for 20-30 seconds.

Be it youtube or other websites, any and all videos just stutter like they are runing at 12fps. I've tried everything i can, from updating windows, drivers and trying power settings up to reinstalling the damn browser, without ...
It's desirable that Vivaldi include a own userscript manager, like the ad and trackerblocker,to make it independent from the Chrome Store. Maybe the Vivaldi devs should consider working with uBlock Origin and replace their ad blocker with a version of that. I have the version from the Chrome store, and it works great at blocking YouTube ads.
Maybe Vivaldi can use an inbuild userscript manager in the future in the privacy settings, similar as with the ad and trackerblocker. Youtube ads can't be skipped... I'm suspecting some kind of regional difference here. Youtube ads have unskippable for a long time here. Or at best, some of the long 1min ads can be skipped after the first 10 ...
28 de ene. de 2024 · The font thing makes sense as I have mine set to 102%, which roughly matches the font size of Firefox for Android (which I much prefer over the tiny Chromium/Blink-based browser default size). I haven't tried this with the default font setting, but I'm going to assume it would fix it based on what you've said @mib2berlin .
