Both versions have been sold as Revuenon, Rikenon, Chinon and Cosinon. Yashica probably only sold the 1st version, Vivitar only the 2nd version, and there was also the Tomioka Tominon, which seems to have sold in 3 versions
10 de jun. de 2024 · Cons: a bit heavy, a bit stiff, obviously... the M42 screw. Sharpness: 9 Aberrations: 8 Bokeh: 9 Handling: 8 Value: 10 Camera Used: Pentax K50, Fujifilm XT-20. This Auto-Chinon 135mm f/2.8 was a nice surprise. It slightly beats the Pentax-A 135mm f/2.8 (a nice lens, too), but given my dislike for screws I would still recommend the Pentax-A.

27 de ago. de 2017 · GAF LC-X (a rebadged Chinon CX) GAF L-ES (a rebadged Chinon CE Memotron) GAF L-ES/2 (a rebadged Chinon CE II Memotron) Yes, AFAIK, the only 1.4 Chinon in K is a 50mm and is not of the same lineage as the Tomioka m42s. There is also a related 1.7, which IMO is actually the better lens of the two:

26 de abr. de 2023 · The maximum focus distance with this Mamiya/Sekor 55 f/1.4 is 1m65 with this lens, or between 5.5 and 6 feet, from the tip of the lens. Since my purpose was portraiture and the like, this did not bother me too much. The lens render beautifully, and I cannot believe how sharp it is even wide open.

15 de abr. de 2017 · Hello, I have a Tomioka-made Sears 55 1.4. While I am very happy with it on my Sony mirrorless, I can't use it on my K-S2 because its huge A/M switch hits the pentaprism housing. I read that the same lens (with different cosmetics) is also sold as a Chinon 55 1.4.
