The only thing that optifine is better is pbr texture packs and custom entities. In most cases iris + sodium is better option. pretty sure there's mods on fabric that achieve those same features. 29 de sept. de 2023 · Maybe there just won’t be a release for 1.20.2. not every update gets an optifine version and the difference between 1.20.1 and .2 is really not that much that most people will care. Then install fabric with sodium and iris (maybe also indium and continuity if you want connected textures) and you can use shaders today.

18 de sept. de 2023 · Just because you made/have a pack that works with OptiFine doesn't mean all packs work with OptiFine. P.S that source that you linked me, means nothing. I can link you a post where people complain about other performance mods too. Sure, but there are way more complaints about OptiFine messing up the game than any other performance mod.
