To add bots as commander on a dedicated server, use following commands: sh_rcon addbot 1 1 com (Adds a Marine commander) sh_rcon addbot 1 1 com (Adds an Alien commander) Either execute this as client directly (You must be an admin), or type the command directly in the server terminal.
10 de nov. de 2019 · sorry to hear that you are having problems connecting to a server. A timeout means that your client hasn't received any updates from the given server for more than 15 seconds. Common reasons for that to occur are either connection issues or your system's firewall is blocking incoming UDP packets from the server.

Ranking allows to properly adjust elo score of players, which means their real "winning power" will more accurately correspond to their elo score - allowing shuffle system to properly balance two teams so they have roughly the same chance of winning.

6 de feb. de 2022 · Next there is very useful mod to make the game more playable: Tactical NS. A Workshop Item for Natural Selection 2. By: fairking. Tactical NS is a small tweak mod which reduces the overall movement speed of all players by 20% (see also Tactical NS Noob 40%). Because of that it makes the game more tactical (in my opinion).
30 de ago. de 2013 · Natural Selection 2 is a fairly demanding game with relatively poor optimization. Game is mostly CPU bound and thus you need a fairly powerful CPU to get decent framerates. Graphics card doesn't seem that important. The recommended system requirements are a bit of a joke as the game is barely playable on a 3.0 ghz Dual Core processor.
