16 de nov. de 2020 · At the Jensen Interceptor's launch, power came from a choice of engines, the little 273 V8 and the big 383 cubic inch (6.3-liter) Mopar V-8, with an easy 325 horsepower and tire-lighting torque. The engines were coupled to a choice of four-speed, fully synchronised manual gearbox, or a a Chrysler three-speed Torqueflite automatic.
23 de abr. de 2022 · Jensen Motors used Chrysler V8 engines for the Interceptor, starting with the 6276 cc (383 c.i.) with optional manual (Mark I, only 22 built) or TorqueFlite automatic transmissions driving the rear wheels through a limited slip differential in a conventional Salisbury rear axle. In 1970, the 383 c.i. produced 335 hp SAE gross, or 270 hp SAE net.

21 de may. de 2020 · On the non Fresh Air Six Pack Air Filter (as fitted to the Jensen’s) they fitted a front Water dam to stop water ingestion, rain flowing through the radiator was being sucked into the engine. Mopar Performance is selling both these Reproduction items as #4529057 & #121-AG440. I am thinking that the Water Dam is a separate pressing that is ...
6 de feb. de 2020 · Jensen could have also probably benefited using the above for their Jensen Interceptor S4 as well as Monteverdi and possibly De Tomaso (assuming the Shelby twin-turbo Pantera implies De Tomaso was considering switching from Ford to Chrysler V8 engines for the Pantera, Longchamp and Deauville).
