26 de abr. de 2023 · So, today I’m at BestBuy to get a TV, and thought back to our discussion, they had this JBL Charge 5, and I just bought it thinking it would be kind of a gag gift. So I take it into the bar, she pairs it to her phone, and I was absolutely, blown away at how good this little thing sounded! I’m, in awe of this thing! Room filling, check.
I recently bought the JBL Charge 5 to have a speaker for general indoor use, for listening to music when I'm showering and to be able to bring it with me if I'm going to an outdoor basketball court, the beach etc. Am I weird for being a little disappointed with it? I mean, the sound is ok, sure, but I'm not really that impressed.

If you REALLY need it (meaning that you are either trying to tune the speaker's DSP using an external software, or you are a JBL developer, in which case you probably won't be here anyways), if you set the system sound output to mono (on android only), you will have a similar effect. 19 de jun. de 2021 · The Charge 5 charges with up to 5V/3A, meaning 15W. If you use a 10W brick it charges slower, if you use a 200W brick it still only charges with 15W. I have a JBL FLIP 5 which draws 3A but my Samsung charger output is only 2A.
3 de jul. de 2021 · The M+ sounds quite balanced till about 60-70% volume, after that it starts losing bass but still won't thin out like the JBL. It's like M+ loses bass at higher volumes, JBL too but not as much, but it loses mids more than M+. Sounds V shaped. Edit : The M+ out of the box sounds pretty average.
30 de may. de 2021 · I'm stuck between jbl charge 5 and ue megaboom 3. Ive been leaning toward the jbl charge 5 because I see the UE is an older model. Anyone have any thoughts on these two products. They are roughly the same price +/- $20. I do realize that ue has the older micro USB connection while Jbl charge 5 is a USB C. Any help will be greatly appreciated ...

16 de jun. de 2022 · I have 2 JBL charge 5 for the stereo, and that sounds nice in the stereo mode, but I have 2 JBL from 2 differential factories. I found out about them. The first one has screws on the inner part of outer casing, and the second one does not. Furthermore, there is a slight difference in beeld inside and different spiekers.
14 de dic. de 2023 · If you want deeper bass but also a slightly brighter more open sound, you may want tu upgrade to the xtreme. Or at charge size a soundcore motion + is a brighter sounding alternative. That's just the Charge 5 which ranks #16 out of 94 small/medium speakers and has notes of: "Negatives: Not stereo. Warm sound.
Press the power button rapidly 5 times, at the 5th time hold the power button for 10 seconds. Hold the power button until your JBL FLIP 5 turns off. Wait a few seconds, and turn the speaker ON again That will fix the issue. Now, the JBL FLIP 5 speaker should work normally.
