The engineer could not get the smart gas meter to work and it is still not working to this day. I have been back in touch with Eon many times to get resolved.

Had to raise a complaint with EON in December, almost immediately the complaint was marked as resolved and closed within hours, I presume by someone who clearly didn’t read the complaint I sent. I emailed back and another email followed telling me they would re-open the complaint.

According to their website, they are E.ON Next Energy Limited, Registered in England & Wales, No. 03782443. Companies House shows that that company has operated under a range of names since 4 June 1999.

22 de oct. de 2012 · Hi retiredin2011. You can certainly pay your bills by either credit or debit card if you wish. We accept Switch/Maestro, Solo, Visa, Mastercard and Electron. Although, as Wywth and macman say, you'll lose your discount for paying with a Monthly Direct Debit. Also, we've recently introduced a 1.5% handling fee for payments made by credit card.
