Jin Yuelin or Chin Yueh-Lin (Chinese: 金岳霖; 14 July 1895 – 19 October 1984) was a Chinese philosopher best known for three works, one each on logic, metaphysics, and epistemology. He was also a commentator on Bertrand Russell.
Jin Yuelin is the founding father of modern logic in China, as well as a pioneer in establishing bridges in the field of philosophy between China and the West.

After studying at the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University in the United States, he returned to China and established the Department of Philosophy at Tsinghua University in 1926, where he started teaching modern logic for the first time in China.
