Richard Wendler (22 January 1898 – 24 August 1972) was a high-ranking Nazi official during World War II. During the occupation of Poland, he was the Governor of new District Lublin in the General Government, in charge of Lublin concentration camp and the creation of the Częstochowa Ghetto, among others.

Richard Wendler (22 de enero de 1898 - 24 de agosto de 1972) fue un oficial nazi de alto rango durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Durante la ocupación de Polonia, fue gobernador del nuevo distrito de Lublin en el gobierno general, a cargo del campo de concentración de Lublin y la creación del gueto de Częstochowa, entre otros.
Richard Wendler war ein deutscher Jurist, SS-Führer und nationalsozialistischer Politiker. Von 1933 bis 1941 war er Oberbürgermeister der Stadt Hof und ab 1942 Generalleutnant der Polizei und SS-Gruppenführer.

Richard Wendler (ur. 22 stycznia 1898 w Oberdorf koło Sonthofen w Allgäu, zm. 24 sierpnia 1972 w Prien am Chiemsee) – SS-Gruppenführer oraz Generalleutnant Policji. W Generalnym Gubernatorstwie pełnił funkcję starosty miejskiego Częstochowy oraz gubernatora dystryktów Kraków, a potem Lublin.
