José Rafael Moneo Vallés (Tudela, Navarra, 9 de mayo de 1937) es un arquitecto español, el primero que ha sido galardonado con el Premio Pritzker de arquitectura en 1996. [1]
Rafael Moneo combines his professional activity as an architect with that as lecturer, critic and theoretician. His writings have been published in the foremost professional magazines and the presentation of his work through lectures and exhibitions has taken him to numerous institutions on both sides of the Atlantic.

José Rafael Moneo Vallés (born 9 May 1937) is a Spanish architect. He won the Pritzker Prize for architecture in 1996, the RIBA Royal Gold Medal in 2003, and La Biennale's Golden Lion in 2021.
