John Charles Montagu Douglas Scott, VII duque de Buccleuch y IX duque de Queensberry, KT, GCVO (30 de marzo de 1864 – 19 de octubre de 1935) fue un noble escocés y miembro del Parlamento británico.
In 1881, he served as a Midshipman in the Royal Navy onboard HMS Bacchante with the grandsons of Queen Victoria – Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence and Avondale and Prince George of Wales, later George V of the United Kingdom. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in September 1883.

Lord John Douglas-Montagu-Scott (13 July 1809 – 3 January 1860) was a 19th-century landlord and MP for Roxburghshire. He was the third son of the 4th Duke of Buccleuch and younger brother to the 5th Duke of Buccleuch. He inherited his residence at Cawston in Warwickshire. [1]
