John Reginald Lopes Yarde-Buller, 3rd Baron Churston OBE, MVO, (9 November 1873 – 19 April 1930) was a British peer and soldier. He is the grandfather of Karim Aga Khan, leader of the Nizari Ismailis, an Islamic sect.
Baron Churston, of Churston Ferrers and Lupton in the County of Devon, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1858 for the former Conservative Member of Parliament, Sir John Yarde, 3rd Baronet. [2] He had earlier represented South Devon in the House of Commons.

Yarde-Buller was the only son of the 2nd Baron Churston and his wife, Barbara, the only child of Sir Hastings Yelverton and the 20th Baroness Grey de Ruthyn.
Joan Barbara Yarde-Buller was born on 22 April 1908. She was the eldest of six children born to John Yarde-Buller, 3rd Baron Churston, the aide-de-camp to the Viceroy of India, and Denise Orme, a former music hall singer.
