Tom Rainey (born 1957) is an American jazz drummer. Career. After attending Berklee College of Music he moved to New York in 1979. [1] . He has played with Tim Berne, [2] Nels Cline, Drew Gress, Mark Helias, Fred Hersch, Tony Malaby, Simon Nabatov, Tom Varner, and Kenny Werner .
Albums and Production. Tom has contributed to a wide range of albums as pianist, bassist, conductor, arranger, composer and producer. These range from local albums, to releases by BMG, Sony and Virgin.
