Andrew Calhoun (born November 30, 1957, in New Haven, Connecticut, United States) is an American folk singer-songwriter based in the Chicago area.
Andrew Calhoun's innovative music is rooted in tradition. In fifty years as a performer he has cultivated a prismatic repertoire including his poetic original songs, Irish and American folk songs, Anglo-Scottish ballads, folk spirituals, and poems and songs by writers such as Dave Carter, Mary Oliver and Robert Burns.

Autobiography. I was born in New Haven, Connecticut, November 30, 1957. I have two older sisters and a brother. As a child I had some trouble learning to tie my shoes, causing my father considerable frustration. He worked at Bell Labs and most of the rest of the time on a system of philosophy expressed in mathematics.
A legacy recording of twenty poetic original songs spanning forty-five years.
