El Volkstheater (en español Teatro Popular), hasta 1945 Deutsches Volkstheater, es un teatro construido en 1889 según los diseños de Hermann Helmer y Ferdinand Fellner en el distrito 7 de Viena, Neubau, en la calle Neustiftgasse 1, desde 2017 Arthur-Schnitzler-Platz 1.

The Volkstheater (roughly translated as "People's Theatre") in Vienna was founded in 1889 by request of the citizens of Vienna, amongst them the dramatist Ludwig Anzengruber and the furniture manufacturer Thonet, in order to offer a popular counter weight to the Hofburgtheater.

The Volkstheater opened in 1889 as the "bourgeois counterpart" to today's Burgtheater. Today, with 830 seats, it is one of the largest theaters in the German-speaking world. The director of the theater is Kay Voges.
