Carolyn Dineen King (born January 30, 1938, in Syracuse, New York) is a Senior United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Her chambers are in Houston, Texas.
16 de oct. de 2019 · By her own admission, Carolyn Dineen King, who in 1979 joined a historic class of 23 women jurists, was not committed to being a lawyer when she entered law school in 1959. That changed two years later, when King became “addicted” to the law during a summer job in Washington.
Carolyn Dineen King is a Circuit Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Following her graduation from Smith College and Yale Law School, Judge King practiced law in Houston, principally with Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright), focusing primarily on corporate and federal securities matters.
