Dameon Ash was the third bassist for Avenged Sevenfold, who joined in 2001, succeeding Justin Sane, and being replaced by longtime bassist Johnny Christ in 2002, before he could record a single album with the band.
His replacement was Frank Melcom, stage name Dameon Ash, who performed with the band for the following months, but does not appear on any releases. On January 18, 2002, Avenged Sevenfold left Good Life Recordings and signed with Hopeless Records.
