Diccon Harper is the original bassist of DragonForce. He was previous member in the bands, "Voice of Destruction" and "Phoenix" and "Demoniac". In DragonForce, he played only on the 2003 release of Valley of the Damned.

Bassist Diccon Harper joined the band in November of that year, with keyboardist Vadim Pruzhanov joining in February 2001 to complete the lineup for recording their debut studio album. Although it was an independent release, their demo was enough to make them one of the UK's most popular independent power metal bands at the time.

Diccon Harper is the former bassist of DragonForce. He was previous menber in the bands, "Voice of Destruction" and "Phoenix" and "Demoniac".
The ex-Demoniac bassist Diccon Harper joined DragonForce in November 2000 with keyboardist Vadim Pruzhanov joining in February 2001 to complete the lineup for recording their first album. Harper performed on the band's debut album, Valley of the Damned in its completion, but left in 2002 due to a tendon problem that required surgery.
