R&J Stone were the British/American husband and wife musical duo of Russell Oliver Stone and Joanne Stone. [1] The pair were originally members of James Last 's British Choir for a number of years. They had a hit single in the mid 1970s with their self penned song " We Do It ".
Their big break came in 1976 with the smash hit “We Do It,” a love anthem penned by Stone that resonated deeply with listeners. Produced by Phil Swern, the track climbed the charts and hit the top 10 in several countries around the world.
