Vanier College is a publicly-funded English language CEGEP located in Montreal. Named in honour of General Georges P. Vanier, a Canadian soldier, diplomat and former Governor General of Canada, Vanier College opened its doors on September 8, 1970 welcoming close to 1,400 students in its first cohort.

Career Programs are normally six semesters or three years in length. There are some exceptions: the Extended Nursing Program can be completed in eight semesters or four years; and some programs offer a fast track, usually for students who have already completed a DCS or an ACS.
When applying to Vanier College, the international applicants must submit a French proficiency test. The minimum acceptable score is B2 for admissions to Vanier College. Please note that these test scores are valid for a period of two years from the date of the exam.
Vanier College (French: Collège Vanier) is an English-language public college located in the Saint-Laurent borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1970 as the second English-language public college of Quebec's public college system, after Dawson College .
