After releasing one album and recording a second which remained unreleased until 2006, Abstrakt Algebra were disbanded and replaced by a reformed Candlemass, who recorded Dactylis Glomerata with a new lineup composed of Edling alongside vocalist Björn Flodkvist, guitarist Michael Amott, drummer Jejo Perkovic and keyboardist Carl Westholm. After releasing five full-length albums and extensively touring throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, Candlemass disbanded in 1994 but reunited three years later. Following another breakup in 2002, the band reformed in 2004 and has continued to record and perform ever since.

15 de ene. de 2023 · Featuring Mats Levén on vocals as well as Leif himself on bass, the bands lineup was completed by guitarists Mike Wead (King Diamond) and Simon Johansson (Wolf) and drummer Jejo Perkovic. The re-issue has been remastered by Patrick W. Engel and packaged in a Digipack.
Jejo Perkovic played tambourine and drums at the end of "Randy I Don't Need You".
