BIOGRAPHY. I'd like to tell you a little about myself. I was born in Detroit and reared during the Motown era (you know the 60's and the 70's). My father, Cornelius Washington, was quite an accomplished guitarist and vocalist. I guess some of that musical dust rubbed off on me.
Charlton Washington left the group in 2020 to pursue a solo career and was replaced by C. J. Jefferson. [25] After years without new music, The Spinners released ' Round the Block and Back Again on August 27, 2021, the first with the current lineup and the final before Fambrough's retirement.
