Montagu Phippen Porch (15 March 1877 – 8 November 1964) was a British colonial officer who in 1918 became Winston Churchill's stepfather, although he was three years his junior.

The Times reported the marriage on Monday 3 June, in a little more detail but with no mention of Jennie’s American background.

Porch was born on 15 March 1877 in Glastonbury, Somerset, the younger son of Reginald Porch LL.M., of the Bengal Civil Service, and grandson of Thomas Porch Porch, JP, of Edgarley, just outside Glastonbury.
