The University of the Virgin Islands (or UVI) is a public historically black land-grant university in the United States Virgin Islands.
Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU (Historically Black College and University) in the United States Virgin Islands (USVI). Approximately 1,625 students are enrolled on the two campuses: the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix and the Orville E. Kean Campus on St. Thomas.
Before Applying. Applicants for readmission to UVI must have previously been matriculated in the university and not have earned a degree from UVI. Please do not complete the freshman or transfer online application for re-admission.
