Esher Sixth Form College is an open access, non-selective 16-19 Academy located in Thames Ditton, Surrey, England. Rated as "outstanding" in September 2022 by Ofsted, it now has around 2100 students enrolled, with a catchment drawn from north Surrey and southwest London.
If you study Spanish, you will gain in-depth understanding of the culture and society of the Spanish-speaking world, through studying films, music, media, politics and more. You will develop skills in communication through listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as translation into and out of the language.
In English Language we study the full range of ways that language is used to communicate out there in the ‘real world’. Everything can be considered a ‘text’ worth studying, and spoken language is as important as written language.
Esher Sixth Form College is a highly successful, open access, non-selective Sixth Form College situated in Thames Ditton, near Hampton Court, Surrey. We are one of the few colleges in the country to achieve ‘Outstanding’ in all areas of our last two full Ofsted inspections and we were awarded Beacon Status in 2005.
History A Level teaches you valuable analytic and research skills as well as how to structure arguments effectively and intelligently. It is one of the most flexible A Levels that combines well with most subjects and it is highly valued by universities and employers for its strong academic base.
