Dowoon is a member of the rock band DAY6 and its sub-unit DAY6 (Even of Day). He also released his solo single "Out of the Blue" in 2021 and completed his military service in 2023.
La banda originalmente incluía a Jae y Junhyeok, que se fueron en 2016 y 2022 respectivamente, actualmente está conformada por cuatro integrantes: Sungjin, Young K , Wonpil y Dowoon. Day6 debutó con el lanzamiento del EP, The Day, el 7 de septiembre de 2015.
