Vauxhall School is proud to offer primary school international students from the Asia Pacific region, and further afield, to join our wonderful, caring and nurturing primary school located in a safe and beautiful residential area north of Auckland.
You will find our small Devonport primary school of 270 students surrounded by open, green playing fields. Open the doors to one of the best primary schools in Auckland - a committed team of experienced teachers, and support staff who are warm and dedicated to each child.
Vauxhall school is located in Devonport on the North Shore, close to beautiful Narrow Neck beach and central Auckland. Vauxhall school provides a very nurturing environment for our children. We are a school of 225 children and have a strong supportive community.
It began in May 1951 as a small school with four teachers including the Principal, Miss Myrtle Banks. This school was named after Vauxhall Avenue which was situated nearby. The first Vauxhall school continued for eight years when it was closed to make way for Vauxhall Senior Modern School.
Vauxhall School is a co-educational contributing school in Devonport, Auckland, with a roll of around 300 children from Years 1 to 6. The school achieves equitable and excellent outcomes for students, and has effective processes and practices for accelerating learning and promoting equity and excellence.
