Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project founded on 13 January 1988 by Claus Larsen. Its influence has been most felt in the electronic body music and electro-industrial genres.
One of the EBM genre’s most celebrated pioneers, Claus Larsen has been guiding Leæther Strip across nearly 30 trailblazing years.
For three decades, Claus Larsen has been a shining example of the enduring power of EBM and industrialized dance music, both with Leæther Strip and Klutæ.
Leæther Strip is the work of Danish electronic artist Claus Larsen. Discovered by the German techno artist and producer Talla 2XLC alias Andreas Tomalla of Bigod 20 , Leæther Strip quickly built a buzz as one of the young EBM / Industrial acts in Europe in the early 90's.
