Jill Janette Freda Belch OBE FRSE (born 22 October 1954) is a Scottish academic working in the field of vascular medicine. Biography. Belch was born in Glasgow on 22 October 1954 to Janetta Finnie Murdoch and Alexander Ross Belch.
Professor Belch is Chair or former Chair of trial steering committees for 19 international multicentre clinical trials of new treatments for vascular disease, and she has authored over 400 publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Objective: The aim of this study was to compare self-reported and parent-reported quality of life for a group of pediatric patients with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS)/myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) and age- and gender-matched healthy control children, to determine the extent of functional and physical impairment.
