She gained international popularity through her leading roles in the television dramas Autumn in My Heart (2000), All In (2003), Full House (2004), That Winter, the Wind Blows (2013), Descendants of the Sun (2016), Encounter (2018) and The Glory (2022).
Song Hye-Kyo made her debut as a model, becoming the winner of a school uniform model competition at the age of 14. She then played the character of a cute and clumsy student in the SBS hit sitcom " Sunpong Sanbuingwa " (1998), but failed to make a lasting impression among fans.
