I will preface this by saying I am not a fan of found footage movies for the most part but I saw this movie on one of those “most disturbing movies of all time” lists so I decided to check it out. Let’s just say that at 84 minutes it was about 40 minutes too long.

It's not the scariest horror movie but has some disturbing scenes. Don't believe any hype these days, people said that Veronica on Netflix was the scariest movie ever and it was this low budget shit fest.
21 de jun. de 2020 · The movie is has got to be the worst horror movie I ever saw. The movie ain’t even scary especially the last 20 minutes. The characters are very unlivable including Megan the girl who we are supposed to feel sorry for. The dialogue is god awful, especially when Megan is talking about her and the camp counselor.

I see people's reaction to the film "Megan Is Missing" and don't think the movie can compare to "A Serbian Film." People saying they couldn't finish the movie etc. I haven't seen it but its obvious Megan was kidnapped and tortured, raped etc.

A few of my faves are "The Taking of Deborah Logan", "The Bay", "Poughkeepsie Tapes" and "Hellhouse LLC". Megan is missing is very good, the last twenty minutes are disturbing af.

And the name of the character Megan is a reference to the child kidnapped by a pedo in her neighborhood and the resulting law that pedos have to identify themselves to neighbors. Its so tasteless to sexualize the characters the way the director did. 20.
