Michelle Terry (born 1979, Nuneaton, Warwickshire) is an Olivier Award –winning English actress and writer, known for her extensive work for Shakespeare's Globe, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre, as well as her television work, notably writing and starring in the Sky One television series The Café.
Michelle Terry is a British actress who has performed in classical and contemporary roles on stage and screen. She is also a writer and the director of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre since 2017.

Actress: Shakespeare's Globe: A Midsummer Night's Dream. Michelle was born in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset and attended local schools, where she first became interested in acting, joining amateur drama groups and taking LAMDA exams before, at age fourteen, joining the National Youth Theatre.
She is an Olivier Award winning Actress working extensively in Theatre, television, and radio. She has written for stage and screen. She is currently the Artistic Director of Shakespeare’s Globe. Previous work for Shakespeare’s Globe includes: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2023), King Lear (2022).
