Nitanju Bolade Casel is an American singer who has been a member of the African American a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock since 1985. Prior to joining, Casel spent four years studying performance and cultural organization in Dakar, Senegal.
Nitanju Bolade Casel joined Sweet Honey in the Rock® in 1985. Combining her roles as a dancer/ choreographer/ singer/ songwriter/ producer/ wife/ mother, she has also served the group for over 25 years in the position of Treasurer.
