Thomas R. Robinson High School (known as Robinson High School) is a public magnet high school in Tampa, Florida. It is one of the four high schools in the county that offers the International Baccalaureate diploma program.
Robinson earns Back-to-Back "A" Rating by FL Dept. of Education. Robinson earned an "A" Rating from the Florida Department of Education. This is our second "A" rating in a row. Robinson is one of six high schools and the only IB school to earn this rating.

Originally from Geneva, Alabama, Thomas Richard Robinson is University of Florida graduate and a former teacher who taught at George Washington Junior High School starting in 1917. Robinson later went on to teach at Woodrow Wilson Junior High School before being appointed principal at Ballast Point School, where he remained for 30 years.
Mr. Thomas R. Robinson was a distinguished educator and served as principal of Ballast Point Elementary School for 30 years. The school was built in 1959 to relieve the overcrowding of Plant High School and because the population trend was starting south of Gandy Boulevard.
