Saint Paul Central High School is the oldest continuously operating high school in the state of Minnesota, United States. [3] Founded in 1866 in downtown Saint Paul, Central has educated many leaders in business, government, literature, arts, sciences, and education throughout the state of Minnesota and the United States.
Recently recognized as one of the best high schools in the country by U.S. News and World Report, Central Senior High School offers opportunities for all. Many Traditions, One School Central is located in Saint Paul, Minnesota’s Capital City, which is home to 287,000 people.
Led by a decades long effort by its most significant graduate and 20th century leader, Leonard J. Fick, the Josephinum was accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), an affiliate of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools in 1976.
Central High School, also known as High School of Columbus and High School of Commerce, was a four-year secondary school (grades 9–12) located in Franklinton, Columbus, Ohio. It was a part of Columbus City Schools (at the time Columbus Public Schools).

Sitting on a 17.87-acre site, the building serves as an anchor and important visual link between the government complex on the east and the west banks of the riverscape.
