1 de feb. de 2013 · Shack–Hartmann wavefront sensors, which are widely used in adaptive optics, ocular aberration measurements and optical testing, reconstruct wavefronts from the measured wavefront slope [1]. There are several methods developed to reconstruct wavefronts, among which modal approach is a commonly used one [2].
A Shack–Hartmann (or Hartmann–Shack) wavefront sensor ( SHWFS) is an optical instrument used for characterizing an imaging system. [1] [2] It is a wavefront sensor commonly used in adaptive optics systems.

A Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor samples the wavefront in the pupil. The wavefront shape will be undersam pled, since although the wavefront average spatial spectrum is a rapidly decreasing function of spatial frequency, it contains frequencies higher than the Nyquist limit : this well-known phenomenon is known as aliasing. The impact of aliasing in adaptive optics is difficult to estimate ...

6 de ene. de 2023 · Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor plays a key role in adaptive optics (AO) systems, which detect the aberrant wavefront by an array of micro-lenslets across the aperture pupil. However, some sub-apertures would be a lack of light induced by the imperfectness of micro-lenslets or pupil shift away from the optical path. Thus, the wavefront detection would be under-sampled and the performance of ...
