High School on a College Campus. Bard Academy at Simon's Rock is located in the heart of the Berkshires, on the verdant 275-acre campus of Bard College at Simon's Rock. Bard Academy students enjoy all of the College's resources and facilities, from our community gardens and research labs to our library, art studios, and theater spaces.
Financial Aid and Scholarships. Simon’s Rock is committed to partnering with families to make this unique opportunity attainable for those students who need and are ready for it. About 80 percent of Simon’s Rock students receive a financial aid package — usually a combination of awards, grants, Federal Work-Study Program, and loans.
Established by the late Overseer Murray Liebowitz and his late wife, Patti, in memory of his mother, this two-year scholarship is awarded annually on the basis of need to a student entering the Upper College who is a first- or second-generation American or a transfer to Simon’s Rock from Bard High School Early College.
