Hugh Quarshie is a British actor of Ghanaian descent. He is best known for his roles in the films Highlander (1986), The Mummy Returns (2001), and Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999). He has also appeared in television series such as Casualty, Holby City, and Doctor Who. Quarshie was born in Accra, Ghana, on 22 December 1954.
