Twórca m.in. komedii romantycznej Notting Hill (1999) z Julią Roberts i Hugh Grantem. Życiorys. Był absolwentem Uniwersytetu Cambridge. Po ukończeniu studiów pracował w Royal Court Theatre jako asystent przez 2 lata.
Roger Michell (5 June 1956 – 22 September 2021) was a South African-born British theatre, television and movie director. He was best known for directing Notting Hill and Venus. He also directed the television movie Persuasion. Michell died on 22 September 2021, at the age of 65.
