The College Law Society plays an important role in Magdalene's legal life. The officers of the society are undergraduates, and they play a major part in organising the society’s activities. The society organises social events each term, together with a careers evening, a second-hand book sale, and a range of mooting.

Courses. Magdalene College admits students to study all academic degree subjects offered at Cambridge. There are over 30 undergraduate courses at Cambridge. Courses at Cambridge cover over 65 subject areas allowing students to specialise their interests and direction of study.
Today it is a place where 400 students from all walks of life call home, and where they lay the foundations for their future endeavours. Located on the banks the River Cam, Magdalene is a hidden gem, tucked away on each side of Magdalene Street. Small, welcoming and packed full of interesting people, the College has a long history.
There is an annual College prize for a Geography essay, submitted outside the formal examination requirements. College Scholarships are awarded for First Class results in University examinations. The College also has a number of travel awards. Magdalene Geographers find that a very wide range of career opportunities is open to them.

Welcome to Magdalene. I have been Master of the College since October 2020 but Magdalene is very much in my DNA. I was an undergraduate at Magdalene and then a postgraduate student. Later, I taught Law as a Fellow of the College for nearly twenty years. My wife and I were married in the Chapel and our children baptised there.
