Moby Grape's first album was released in the USA with a large poster, repeating the cover image. The first issue has an image of the band with Don Stevenson ''giving the finger'' on both cover and poster. As this was (belatedly) considered to be obscene, the second issue featured the same images, but with the offending finger airbrushed away. ...
Moby Grape is een Amerikaanse rockband, opgericht in 1966. De band maakte deel uit van de psychedelische muziekscene van San Francisco. Ze voegden elementen van rock-'n-roll, folkmuziek, pop, blues en country toe aan het psychedelische geluid van de jaren '60. Alle leden van de band traden zowel op als leadzanger en als songwriter.

Moby Grape is an American rock band founded in 1966. Part of San Francisco's psychedelic music scene, the band merged elements of rock and roll, folk music, pop, blues, and country. They were one of the few groups of which all members were lead vocalists and songwriters. The group's first incarnation ended in 1969, in part due to members Bob Mosley and Skip Spence suffering from mental illness.
