Clontarf (en irlandés: Cluain Tarbh) es un área residencial de clase media al norte de la ciudad de Dublín, Irlanda. Famosa por la batalla de Clontarf de 1014 donde Brian Boru, Gran Rey de Irlanda derrotó a los invasores vikingos y sus aliados irlandeses de Leinster.

Clontarf (Irish: Cluain Tarbh, meaning 'Meadow of Bulls') is an affluent coastal suburb on the Northside of Dublin in the city's Dublin 3 postal district. Historically, there were two centres of population, one on the coast towards the city, and the fishing village of Clontarf Sheds, further north on the coast at what is now Vernon Avenue.

On the one hand, it is bordered by the sea promenade at Dublin Bay and the other side of Clontarf has one of Dublin's largest park, Saint Anne's Park.. Winter and summer, the promenade makes a lovely walk with plenty of watering holes and restaurants along the way.
