19 de ene. de 2023 · Competitive games on South America are a no-go right now and that won’t change until we have more local servers. The issue isn’t even having high ping, because other players on the same servers will usually also have the same range of ping as you, however, the moment a North American joins.

31 de oct. de 2021 · Rather the failure was caused by the growth in the number of servers in our datacenters. The result was that most services at Roblox were unable to effectively communicate and deploy. Due to the difficulty in diagnosing the actual bug, recovery took longer than any of us would have liked.
20 de ene. de 2022 · Running all Roblox backend services on one Consul cluster left us exposed to an outage of this nature. We have already built out the servers and networking for an additional, geographically distinct data center that will host our backend services.
