Satan is the main antagonist of the 2006 rock musical comedy film Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny and the 2001 animated comedy music video Fuck Her Gently by Tenacious D. He was also featured, or at least mentioned, in the 2001 song Tribute which had been previously featured in the late 90s Tenacious D TV series, albeit slightly differently.
Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny is a 2006 American musical fantasy comedy film about comedy rock duo Tenacious D. Written, produced by and starring Tenacious D members Jack Black and Kyle Gass, it is directed and co-written by musician and puppeteer Liam Lynch.

Tenacious D recorded their songs "Tribute", "Kyle Quit the Band", "Krishna" and "History" and released them in a demo tape called Tenacious Demo in the late 1990s with Andrew Gross, distributing it to various record companies, until HBO offered them a TV show based upon the tape and Black's work on Mr. Show.
