Ronald Pierce «Ron» Ely (Hereford, Texas; 21 de junio de 1938) es un actor estadounidense, popularmente conocido por haber interpretado a Tarzán en la serie televisiva del mismo nombre de los años 1960s.

The series portrayed Tarzan (played by Ron Ely) as a well-educated character who had grown tired of civilization, and returned to the jungle where he had been raised. The first five episodes (1-4 and 7 in transmission order) were filmed in Brazil; the production then relocated to Mexico.

Ely is best known for having portrayed Tarzan in the 1966–1968 NBC series Tarzan and for playing the lead role in the film Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze (1975). He hosted the Miss America pageant telecast in 1980 and 1981.
