Student mostly uses correct vocabulary with few, if any, errors in grammar or sentence structure. The dialogue is clear and follows a logical sequence. Student makes no errors in vocabulary usage, grammar, or sentence structure. The dialogue is well-written and practical.
Oral Presentation Rubric. Holds attention of entire audience with the use of direct eye contact, seldom looking at notes • Speaks with fluctuation in volume and inflection to maintain audience interest and emphasize key points.
SPEAKING | ASSESSMENT C1 Global Achievement 5 • Handles communication on a wide range of topics, including unfamiliar and abstract ones, with very little hesitation. • Uses accurate and appropriate linguistic resources to express complex ideas and concepts and produce extended discourse that is coherent and easy to follow.
This rubric is specifically designed to evaluate the oral presentations of a single speaker at a time and is best applied to live or video-recorded presentations. It is recommended that each speaker be evaluated separately for panel or group presentations.
