A Flare Shield was a directional electromagnetic flux field generator, similar in function to Imperial Void Shields that was used by the ancient Mechanicum of Mars and other Imperial military forces during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.
24 de sept. de 2022 · Despite “only” having 6hp the Cerberus has 14 armour all-round and comes with a flare shield, so is likely to shrug off all but the very most powerful incoming fire. The main gun is centreline-mounted though, so sometimes pointing at its target will expose the sides.
9 de sept. de 2022 · Regardless of armament though it’s a tough thing – AV14 all around is huge, and it’s also one of the few tanks you can throw a flare shield on for good measure. Reducing strength by 1 doesn’t seem like a big deal until you see it in action, because so little can crack that effective AV15.
14 de dic. de 2022 · Once you hit AV15 (or equivalent, with a flare shield) then you’re really into the stratosphere and untouchable by a huge amount of firepower. Leadership buffs: The best buff of this kind is Fearless, which means the unit cannot be pinned and won’t fail morale ever.
