The main reasons were that I didn't want to enable UPnP and also I didn't know which ports specifically needed to be forwarded for a specific game (Helldivers 2). Here is the easiest way I could find to add a device to DMZ via Luci:

In OpenWRT the feature you are looking at is plain port forward. Open you router IP, typically http://192.168.1.1 In Network menu, choose Firewall, the Port Frowards.
