Chameleon Skinks are an unusual spawning that for many ages was thought to have become extinct. They originated exclusively from the sacred spawning pools of Pahuax, a temple-city destroyed soon after the fall of the polar gates, and it was thought that the last of their kind was slain in the battle of Blood Ravine.
Chameleon Skinks are the more elite version of Skink Skirmishers. Everything Skirmishers do, Chameleon Skinks do a little better. They are very fast for infantry, inflict poison with their missiles, can fire whilst moving, and have 40% missile resistance.

Chameleon Skinks. Unseen on the battlefield, but felt when their deadly darts bring down enemies in their droves. With skin able to mimic the patterns of their surrounding environment, Chameleon Skinks are able to sneak within a few arms' lengths of their enemies.
Oxyotl, known as "He That Hunts Unseen," is a legendary and much-feared Chameleon Skink who was at one time the last and greatest Chameleon Hunter within the jungle-continent of Lustria, an ancient being who was alive when Chaos first came to the mortal world in the Great Catastrophe.

When the giant void-ship Eye of Chotec crashed into Ghur, its Saurus and Kroxigor spawning pools were damaged beyond repair, leaving this resourceful warband to defend the Old Ones’ treasures.
