In 2006 the VCA became an affiliated college of the University of Melbourne, and on 1 January 2007 the VCA became known as the Faculty of the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne. In April 2009 the school became part of the new Faculty of the VCA and Music (VCAM).
5 de may. de 2011 · The VCA was established in 1972 with the School of Art, which continued the lineage of the National Gallery of Victoria Art School, founded in 1867. This was followed by the creation of the School of Music in 1974, the School of Drama in 1976, the School of Dance in 1978 and Film and Television in 1992.

View the Collection. The VCA Art Collection spans the entire history of the Victorian College of the Arts and its predecessor, the National Gallery School of Art. Comprising painting, sculpture, photography and works on paper, and ceramics most works are by students, staff or alumni.
